Hu Jintao said that the USA should “exercise restraint in order not to escalate the level of tension” in Korea. Of course he’s right. Since this is true, then isn’t it also true that the USA should hae “exercised restraint in order not to escalate the level of tension” when they were bombed in Pearl Harbor? Why did the USA react so violently, i.e., declaring war against Japan? Didn’t they understand that negotiation and dialogue are the way to go, both then in Japan and now in Korea?

I’m an aspiring screenwriter who has attended several courses and read many books on how to write a screenplay. I have never truly researched the negotiation/legality stage of the business, because I never got that far. But now through a connection, I am close to being hired to write a certain screenplay. One of the questions asked me was “how much will I be charging to be paid up front before writing the script?” I don’t even know what the average payment is for a screenwriter to be paid up front! Please, can someone tell me how much on average does a screenwriter ask to get paid up front when assigned to write a screenplay???

I’m a recent college grad in general business. I haven’t been working for too long and altogether, I got about a year of customer service/retail experience, plus less than a year of office/administrative experience (about half a year of which is recent – all of my other previous experience I got more than 2 years ago, before I went to college). I also got about two years of construction experience and about a year of industrial warehouse (machines and metal working kind of stuff), though I don’t want to go in that direction.

I get along with people very well and studied negotiation and psychology on my own. I’m pretty good with electronics and computers, though not advanced – while I build computers and can do installations, configurations, and troubleshooting of all kinds inside Windows environment, I only got very basic knowledge of Linux and Macs, and know next to nothing about networking and firewalls. I know something about accounting – I got A+ in both of my accounting courses in college, though I don’t feel very comfortable in this area and don’t want to make accounting my main vocation.

4)Any punch(s) above the neck is illegal and will result in disqualification
5)No prayer before the match
6)Pacquiao is not allowed to watch tapes of Floyd
7)Floyd should get 100% purse

So i graduated from college a year ago with a BA in psychology and i haven’t been able to find any other jobs besides my part time retail job. I believe i’ve got a pretty good chance of getting a job with the state since i’ve been doing an internship with them for the past couple of weeks.

The position is an on site Computer/network technician job in the local school district. I don’t have any certifications or anything like that but i did go through the A+ certification courses in college and i know a lot about technology in general. The only real work experience i have in the IT field consists of support technician job that i did with the college for a couple of months.

I have lots of interest in how to tell if people are lying, and I know a fair amount. I want to start a blog about this, and I’m trying to decide how. I’ve seen some from an academic point of view, while others are more about current events, like is the latest accused murdered lying. I also thought of expanding it to things about body language not related to lying and/or techniques for negotiation. What angle will get the best following that is sustainable?
